Le FX30 est un appareil très bien fabriqué, avec de beaux matériaux, solides. Il est doté d'un zoom Leica, stabilisé, comportant une focale de véritable grand-angle (équiv. 28 mm) et lumineux. Le système Intelligent ISO Control adapte la sensibilité et la vitesse en fonction du déplacement du sujet. Si le sujet est immobile, il adoptera une vitesse plus lente et une sensibilité basse. Associée à la stabilisation, cela devrait permettre de limiter les flous de bougé.
Les images délivrées par ce modèle sont bien piquées. Seule une montée de la sensibilité à 1250 ISO gâchera un peu le résultat, car le lissage de correction est un peu trop exagéré.
About Panasonic and Matsushita
Panasonic, originally founded in 1918 by Konosuke Matsushita, is a diversified conglomerate that encompasses a wide range of businesses. Today, it comprises 680 companies involved in electrical equipment, including battery production, household appliances, and electronics such as radios, TVs, video cameras, and DVD players. Its success initially began with the introduction of an innovative double socket and other simple electrical equipment by its founder.
It appears that optical and purely photographic equipment was never a primary focus of the Matsushita Group, as their strength primarily lay in electronics. Alongside numerous other brands, including National, Technics, JVC, and Panasonic, the latter brand now serves as the name of the holding company. This well-known label, particularly in the United States, allowed them to enter the photographic product market. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, they introduced some consumer-level film cameras alongside more sophisticated video cameras.
Today, the group produces Lumix digital cameras (APNs), which are highly regarded in their class.
